Lauren E. MacKay is an associate attorney and rising talent on our divorce and family law team. Lauren realized her passion and aptitude for practicing divorce and family law early in her career, while clerking for our firm during law school. She has since steadily advanced to becoming an associate attorney and valuable asset to our divorce and family law team. Lauren graduated summa cum laude from Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona, with her Bachelor of Arts degree in Justice Studies. She then obtained her Juris Doctorate from Pepperdine University School of Law in Malibu, California, where she quickly stood out as a promising trial litigator, earning a coveted position competing on the Pepperdine School of Law Trial Advocacy Team and obtaining placement in Honors Trial Practice. Indeed, Lauren strives to settle issues and cases whenever possible, as it often is, through skilled negotiation and litigation strategy. But if trial is the only option, Lauren is a formidable courtroom opponent. Utilizing her talents both in and out of the courtroom, Lauren aggressively protects her clients’ families, and their assets, without overextending costs. Ultimately, Lauren strives to soften the burden of the divorce and child custody process as much as possible by employing the skill, compassion, and appropriate level of aggression tailored to obtain favorable results, taking into account each of her clients’ distinct family needs.
